Kinslee Ann Merrill will be joining our family in March!! We are more then excited to be having a little girl! I have been grossly out numbered far to long! I can't wait to see what she will look like. I remember with both my boys the thing I was most excited about was to see what they would look like. I can't tell you how excited we are to see our sweet Kinslee! I can't wait to see Robbie hold her for the first time and watch him just melt with the sight of his sweet little girl. I know she is going to have him wrapped around her tiny little finger the first time he sees her!! We love you Kinslee, and we can't wait to see your sweet little face!!

Funny bed time memory!

Tonight as I put Jared in bed we were singing out of the children's hymn book just like every other night, but usually his daddy gets to do that part with him. After singing "Adam was a Prophet" Jared said, "Mommy I had a dream that I was with Adam, you know the Adam that was a prophet?" I said, "oh yea, what did you and Adam do?" He said, "we served the lord pie!" With a bit of shock and laughter in my voice, I said, "you did, you and Adam served the Lord pie?" He replied by singing, "Yep like, Adam was a prophet first one that we know, in a place called Eden he helped things to grow. Adam served the Lord pie." I immediately burst into uncontrollable laughter. He was so confused as to why I was laughing so hard. After a couple of minutes I finally composed myself and explained the real words to him. That was one of those priceless moments I will never forget!

My Dream!

I wasn't sure how or if I wanted to post this on here, but I want to always remember this dream, so I figured this was the best way.
Last night I had a dream about my sweet mother. I was walking along and saw her standing there with her back to me. I walked up to her and put my hand on her shoulder and turned her around. She had the most beautiful smile her face. We embraced as she said, "My Kelly." I just kept saying, "Mom, Mom I have missed you so much." We hugged for awhile then I stepped back just enough so I could see her face again. She just stood there and smiled at me with her huge dimples. I grabbed her and hugged her again. I didn't want to let go, because I knew when I did she would be gone again. We sat there talking for awhile and I couldn't look away, because I was afraid if I looked away she would be gone. All of a sudden something took my attention away and when I looked back she was gone. My heart was broken, but so full of joy at the same time. I had seen my mom again and got to her hug her! I woke up and I couldn't fall back asleep. I was so happy. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I've needed that for so long now. I miss my mom so much and I long for a sweet hug from her again. I want to her see her beautiful face and huge dimples again. I believe last night a little part of that was fulfilled for me. I know that may seem silly to some of you, but for me it's all I have. I love you Mommy.

Exciting News!!

We are pleased to announce that we are pregnant with #3!! We couldn't be more thrilled that we are expecting again. My due date is March 5th 2011! After 18 long months of trying we finally made it happen. We feel so blessed to have the opportunity to bring another sweet spirit into the world. We are blessed to have two beautiful little boys and look forward to possibly having a third! I guess only time will tell!!

Each night as I go to bed I go in and kiss the boys goodnight again. Well last night as I went to walk into Paytons room I hit something with a big thud. It was Paytons head! He had gotten out of his crib turned the light on and fallen asleep right in front of the door! We had to push his little body out of the way so we could get in and put him back in bed. He was pretty unaware of what was going on. It was so funny to find my 2 year asleep on the floor with the light on. Got to love little ones!!

We had a little birthday party at the park the day before his birthday. He had such a great time playing with his cousins and friends. This was his first birthday party that we took invitations and invited friends. He love it. I may have loved it more though!!

Each morning as we eat breakfast, I like to talk to Jared about things such as his dreams and the day before. Well this morning Jared started the conversation by saying,
"Mom did you know we all went to Heaven with Jesus?"
Kelly: You're right we did.
Jared: Even you and Payton lived with Jesus.
Kelly: Yep everyone lived with Jesus.
Jared: He lives far far away like this high. (Stretching his arms as high as they would go)
Jared: And he lives in the Church house.
Kelly: Ya he does!
Jared: But not down here.
Kelly: That is right. Where did you learn all of these wonderful things? In Primary?
Jared: No. In the class. ( Meaning in the classroom, not in the primary room!)
Kelly: I am so glad you are learning these things about Jesus. Does it make you happy to learn about Jesus?
Jared: Ya, I love Jesus!!

I am so grateful that he is learning all these wonderful things. It is just proof that going to church is essential for our childrens progression. They learn so much from being there. I love watching my children learn and grow!

The joys of cribs and poop!!

Everyday between 12 and 1 I lay Payton down for his nap. On this particular day he had been in his crib for over an hour playing, instead of sleeping :) Suddenly he began crying. It started as a whine and then after a few minutes turned into a sob. I could tell something was wrong, so I asked Robbie to go up and check on him and tell Payton it was time to lay down and sleep. Well Robbie walked into his room and immediately said, "um Kelly come here." So I went upstairs to find Payton standing in the corner of his crib crying and pointing to the poop in his crib. Not only did he poop, but he was naked from head to toe and had peed at least 3 times all over the crib and floor. He was like a little puppy hiding in the corner terrified of the repocution that was about to befall him. It was actually pretty funny! I should have gotten pictures, but in my haste I cleaned him and his bed up before I could get any.
Luckily he hasn't done it again. I think he was so scared of his poop, that he won't do it again!

November 26th was our 5 year Anniversary!! I suprised Robbie with tickets to Phantom of the Opera. He has always wanted to see it on Broadway. I had purchased the tickets 2 months earlier and it was killing me to keep it a secret from him. I showed up at his work dressed up and handed him the tickets. He was so excited! We had such an amazing time.
I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful husband and father. I love you honey more then you could ever know!

O.k so I got ambitious and decided to go to Ross and Best Buy. I parked in the middle of the two stores and walked to Ross and then over to Best Buy. When I was done we walked back to the car. As we approached the car I thought to myself it sounds like the car is on. Pushing the thought from my mind I began rummaging through the diaper bag for my keys. Much to my dismay they were not in there. So I looked through the windshield and what do you know, there are the keys in the ignition with the car still on. It wasn't bad enough that I had locked the keys in the car, but I had left it on as well. I had to call Robbie and interrupt him in the middle of a meeting to bring me the spare keys. So while we waited I took some pictures to capture the moment!!

Family Home Evening!

Monday night we were having family home evening. I was reading a story about being a peacemaker and I was explaining to Jared what a peacemaker was. After I finished the story I asked Jared what a peacemaker was, he responded by putting his hand on his chin, as though in contimplation, and said "um, it's something you put on a duck." Robbie and I were laughing so hard. I explained it again and then he got it. Over the next couple of days he has been trying to be a peacemaker. When he and Payton are fighting over something he says, "here Payton you can have it" and then he runs over to me and says, "mom I am a peacemaker!" Moral of the story, Family Home Evening really does work!!

Fun with Vinyl!

Well I went to Utah last week, and while I was there I stayed with my cousin Jason and his wife Amy. Amy does every kind of vinyl lettering you can think of, and she is amazing at it. So while I was there she made these vinyl letterings to put above their beds.

We then made these to give to my sisters as a thank you for helping me out with Jared while I was gone. Sisters are the best. I just made the magnets to go on it when I got home. Thanks again Amy for the vinyl. You are amazing! Everyone needs to check out her website @ chatterboxvinyl.com. You will love her stuff!

This time it was for Jared! Our second trip to Urgent care. We were playing at the park with his cousin Jaxon and they were throwing rocks. Not at eachother, but they had hit eachother a couple of times. This one got Jared on the head and he came running over crying and holding his head. He moved his hand and it was covered in blood. So we took him and cleaned it up so we could get a better look at it. We decided to go to urgent care to make sure he didn't need stiches. The Dr. said he could staple it, but that it wouldn't heal up any better then just leaving it alone. So we put some medicine on it and went home. That night as we were putting him in bed, he didn't want to lay on his pillow and he says, "I get my pillow all bleeding" we were laughing so hard. So then he said, "Oh this side" and turned his head and layed on the opposite side. I knew we would have more trips to urgent care. Just glad he was o.k.

Our First Of Many!!

I took Payton to the Dr. this morning for a rash on his stomach. The Dr. had just come in the room and we were talking. Jared wanted to get up on the patient table, so he pulled out the drawer to climbed up on the table. Just as he got up on the table Payton tripped and hit his head on the corner of the drawer. I picked him up and immediately could see he would need stickes. I started crying along with Payton and then Jared started crying. The Dr. grabbed some gaws and told me to apply pressure. After the bleeding stopped she cleaned it out and then because it is so close to his eye and he is so young she didn't want to hold him down to put stiches in so she used a glue stich instead. The Dr. kept asking me if I was o.k? I was fine, I just felt bad that my little guy got hurt. He is fine of course. I know this is just the first of many stiches to come with two boys!!

Payton's 1st Birthday!!

I'm not sure why, but the last few times that I have tried to upload pictures it just keeps saying there is an error. So no pictures, but I was trying to upload pictures from Paytons 1st Birthday party. He turned 1 on January 14. Way late I know, but I promise I've been trying it just hasn't been working. Anyway, we went to a park and had lunch and a huge Pinata. The kids loved it. We acctually combined Jaxon's 2 birthday and Connor's 4th birthday with Payton's 1st birthday. We made a round cake with a big 1 in the middle and made the 1 look like a road with cars on it. It was really fun. I can't believe he is 1 already. He is our little comedian! He and Jared make life worth living. Even if there is a bunch of crap going on, all I have to do is look at my beautiful boys and everything feels better! I love them so much!

I am so grateful for all the hard work you do for our family. You do so much and work so hard and I know that it isn't always easy, but we love you and appreciate all you do. Well Robbie and I have this way of getting out of doing things that we don't want to do by telling Jared "maybe later". So a couple of days ago Jared came in our room in the morning to get us out of bed. He walked in and turned on the light, so Robbie said "hey Jared turn off the light" and then he replied "maybe later"! We were laughing so hard. We couldn't believe what we had taught our son!

My dad's Christmas present this year was a trip to Disneyland. We had such a great time with my family. Robbie and I decided to leave the kids home with his parents, so we could have a vacation to ourselves. It was really nice to have some time to ourselves. We were gone for 4 days and I missed the boys so much. Thanks for the great vacation dad. We all had an amazing time!!

Robbie is the manager of his own M&I branch located on Greenfield and Baseline. On August 22 they had the Grand Opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and everything. I couldn't be prouder of Robbie, he has worked so hard to get where he is. He is so smart and it is pretty incredible that they trusted a 25 year old with the job of running an entire branch. As they were raising the flag in front of the branch I cried thinking about what a huge deal it was that he had accomplished such an amazing thing.
I am so proud of you Robbie and I love you very much!

Jared loves to sit on the couch and hold Payton. Payton will a good sport for awhile, but then he is done being brothers little doll!

Payton is 6 months old here. Jared is 6 months old in the picture. I put them in the same outfit, so we could see how much they look alike. Although Payton fills out that onsie a lot more than Jared did. Payton weighed 20lbs. at his 6 month apt. and Jared didn't weigh that much until his 12 month apt. What a fattie!! I love it!

So I got these crocks from Wal-mart and we lost one of them and the other one eded up in the back window of the car. Well three days later I looked in the back window and noticed the shoe was extremely smaller then it should have been. I love being a mom! I had such an amazing Mother's Day! Robbie made a video with pictures to music for my present. He gave it to me the morning of Mother's Day and I just cried as I watched what the two of us had created. We are a family of 4. I am the mother of 2 beautiful little boys. My life has been so blessed since becoming a mom.

Yesturday was Robbies 25th birthday!! we were able to go out the weekend before and spend some time together for his birthday, because last night was my grandma's last night here in Arizona, I miss you already grandma, so we went out with my entire family to dinner and then played games and watched a movie. Playing games is what we do when grandma is here! I love it when she comes and visits!

Payton was born on January 14th at 8:32am. He was 3 1/2 weeks early, but he is a healthy beautiful boy. I delivered at Banner Gateway. The new hospital on Higley and the Freeway. It was a great hospital. The rooms were great and the nurses were amazing. I highly recommend delivering at this hospital.

I feel so blessed to be the mom of two beautiful boys. I couldn't be happier. Although the nights are long I couldn't be happier to have Payton here with us. I was so anxious to meet him and when they placed him on my chest for the first time I just cried and thanked my Heavenly Father for sending me a healthy baby boy. I love being a mom!
